Delivery of the book chapter

Clinical case book chapter

To obtain a Master's degree (Professional or Academic), the student must be listed as one of the authors of a chapter in a clinical case book from the São Leopoldo Mandic Faculty, to be published only in the year of the defense.

The chapters must be submitted by June 30th of the year of the defense, in accordance with the rules required by the Institution and with the mandatory documents: a) approval opinion from the Ethics Committee; b) content agreement form signed by the advisor.

Bibliographic Survey

The literature review presents a preliminary selection of documents that can be used as references in the construction of your research.

It consists of a list of references available to students and faculty of the São Leopoldo Mandic Library “Prof. Dr. Cid Santos Gesteira”.

We will send you, via email, a list of journal articles, academic papers, and other bibliographic materials on your topic of interest, according to the specifications you provided in the form: language, keywords, etc.

To request this service, a bank deposit of R$ 15.00 is required.

Processing time for your request: 5 business days from the date you receive proof of payment.

Bibliographic Research

This service involves locating complete references of interest to the applicant through interlibrary loan, which allows obtaining copies of journal articles, theses and dissertations, conference proceedings, technical reports, and book chapters (provided they are authorized by copyright law).

COMUT is a service affiliated with the Brazilian Institute of Information in Science and Technology (IBICT), which allows users to obtain copies of technical and scientific documents available in the collections of various Brazilian and foreign libraries.

After the search, the user receives an email with a quote for the complete article, specifying the database where it was found, the delivery timeframe, payment details, and shipping method. A fee is required to receive the quote* in the following cases:

  • 1 to 10 references = no cost
  • 11 to 30 references = R$ 10.00
  • 31 to 50 references = R$ 20.00

* We do not search lists with more than 50 references. Payment can be made via bank deposit.

Submission of Academic Papers and Preparation of Cataloging Data Sheets

After defending their academic work, the student must submit the final file and the agreement form for the final version to the Library via an online form for standardization verification.

If the work complies with the institution's standards, a cataloging record will be prepared. If the work does not comply with the standards, it will be returned to the student for corrections.
