Check out what happened at the 5th edition of the Breakfast with the Board of Trustees.
On September 12th, from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM, the 5th edition of the Breakfast with the Sponsor took place in the Gold Room.
Ten randomly selected employees and members of the Board of Trustees participated in the meeting: Dr. José Luiz Junqueira, Dr. Jussara Junqueira, Susana Passos, and Vanessa Virgens, Director of HR and Biosafety.
To begin, Dr. José Luiz recounted the start of Mandic, which had only four employees and today has more than 1,500. According to him, with this growth, many families depend on our work here. Therefore, we need to give our best. “Our team is a selection of the best. We have to win the game, make a difference, and be the difference in people's lives,” he affirms.
He added that work cannot be solely for the salary, but for purpose, and that Mandic promotes health and education for people through undergraduate courses and free, quality care for the population.
Following a brief introduction of each collaborator, Dr. José Luiz listened to the suggestions and ideas of everyone present, who contributed their visions and expectations about the Institution. Many of the ideas are already underway by the sponsoring organization, so many new things are coming soon!
The staff also praised the doctor's initiative to hire a musician to play piano at the college during lunch, a simple gesture that makes all the difference to everyone's well-being. In addition to the piano, staff will soon have other new features to enjoy this rest time with quality and comfort.
Dr. Junqueira also asked the employees what, in their view, represents the Mandic culture, and among the main answers, we can highlight: welcoming, closeness, a sense of belonging to a family, and also transparency in communication. That's the Mandic way!
To conclude the meeting, Dr. José Luiz stated that he is fully available to listen to the collaborators.
The 6th edition of the Breakfast Meeting will be held soon, with a drawing for interested new collaborators. Don't forget to register; it's a great opportunity to get closer to the organization and meet other colleagues.
