The course aims to discuss the necessary approach for each case involving anterior restorations, such as incisal restorations, diastemas, composite resin veneers/veneers, and restorations of discolored teeth. It will also cover crucial points in case analysis, presenting different restorative techniques, types of resins, and the differences between them. Different types of restorations will be discussed and practiced in laboratory exercises to solidify knowledge and improve content assimilation. In this way, participating professionals will be able to immediately apply the knowledge and practices acquired during the course, optimizing their clinical practice and making their work more predictable and long-lasting.
All necessary consumable materials will be provided by the course. The twenty-four hours of intensive content covering all the important steps for performing anterior composite resin restorations will address all the details of case planning, as well as the important steps for carrying out the treatment safely and predictably. When and how to perform preparations, restorations of discolored teeth, composite resins, layering techniques, color selection, use of pigments, diastema closure, resin veneers. All with plenty of hands-on practice, simulating different clinical situations so that all the content is efficiently solidified! In this Unit you will find: • 4 clinics totaling 48 dental units, surgical and radiological center, air-conditioned classrooms with audiovisual resources, multidisciplinary laboratories, sterilization center, rest room, student break room, luggage storage and parking. • Electronic medical record system (OdontoSig), containing the data of triaged patients directed to the specialty, which can be accessed by students from their own cell phones. • Equipment and instruments available for student use, such as implant motors, operating microscopes, prosthetic kits, centrifuge, digital sensors, ultrasound, and state-of-the-art photoactivators. • Remote access to the CAPES Periodicals Portal and Institutional Repository; • Student services portal. b) The documentation required to regularize the enrollment must be presented in physical format at the Student Support/Secretary of the Unit, within the period in accordance with the contract:
– Birth or marriage certificate – certified by the Brazilian consulate;
– Passport showing personal identification, and the Visa Stamp to enter in Brazil (whenever applicable);
– CRNM (National Immigration Registry Card) OR RNE (Foreign National Registry) OR the protocol issued by the Federal Police, stating the period of leave to remain in Brazil;
– Professional card (which proves the permission to practice the profession)
– Recent proof of residence (last three months);
– One 3cm x 4cm front-angle photo with neutral background that allows for digital scanning;
– Original Graduation Diploma translated by a sworn and consularized public translator.
Note: As required by the Brazilian Ministry of Education, the Graduation diploma is requested to be scanned at the institution, and must be delivered within the period in accordance with the contract, under penalty of non-issuance of the diploma if you have this pendency.
All assignments, tests and other written activities must be done in Portuguese.
Tuition Payment Methods: Tuition payments must be made via bank slips, with a due date up to 5 days before the start of the course. For foreign students, three tuition installments must be paid in advance on the first day of class, in Brazilian currency (Real). The remaining installments must be paid monthly from the second module onwards, with due dates on the 10th of each month.
Reimbursement:
(1) If the registrant submits a request to withdraw from the Course under the terms mentioned above, up to 20 (twenty) days before the start date, Faculdade São Leopoldo Mandic will reimburse the equivalent of 80% (eighty percent) of the amount corresponding to the investment, with the remaining 20% (twenty percent) being considered administrative expenses;
(2) If you submit a request to withdraw from the Course under the terms mentioned above after it has begun, you will lose the right to a refund of the amount relating to the Course, even if you have not attended classes, in view of the provisions of applicable legislation, the General Regulations for Postgraduate Studies of the Institution and also because the Courses are offered based on the number of registered students, in which case the vacancy will be considered filled by the withdrawing student;
(3) For those enrolled in Courses called “Remaining Vacancies/Immediate Start”, if the enrolled person submits a request to withdraw from the Course under the terms mentioned above up to 20 (twenty) days before the date of the next module, Faculdade São Leopoldo Mandic will reimburse 80% (eighty percent) of the amount corresponding to the investment, with the remaining 20% (twenty percent) being considered administrative expenses.
(4) If the cancellation request is made less than 20 (twenty) days before the start of classes, the registrant is aware that there will be no refund of the amount paid as registration, since the Institution will not have sufficient time to replace the registrant with another candidate, it being understood that the provision of services for reserving the place will have occurred, justifying the receipt of the registration.
Important note: If the Course does not take place or is postponed for any reason by the Institution, the registrant will be entitled to a 100% (one hundred percent) refund of the registration fee, regardless of when they become aware of this rescheduling.
If the registrant is aware of this change and chooses to withdraw from the course, they will receive a refund of 80% of the registration fee.
