Patents and
intellectual property
The São Leopoldo Mandic Faculty – MANDIC promotes the publication of technical and scientific works and projects by its students and professors. However, the institution also takes a stand as a defender of intellectual property and encourages the creation and publication of patents.
In recent years, MANDIC has published more than 10 patents developed by its faculty and students. This type of technical-scientific research result is considered one of the most relevant in contributing to regional and/or national development, and two of these patents already have a granted and complete license (PI 0401214-3 A2 and MU8403653-2 Y1).
