The Professional Master's Program in Dentistry at São Leopoldo Mandic has been training qualified and competent dental professionals since 2002, both for advanced and transformative clinical practice, and for teaching, promoting research and outreach.

Postgraduate Program
in dentistryTo this end, the Professional Master's Program at MANDIC provides conditions for the training of human resources focused on applicability and innovation in the health field; it develops research and technological innovation aimed at solving problems and demands of the community in which the institution is located, aligned with a development model that prioritizes, in addition to economic growth, the promotion of quality of life; it maintains its teaching and technical-administrative staff qualified, up-to-date, motivated and, above all, committed to the institutional mission. Furthermore, we seek to maintain financial self-sustainability through the constant encouragement of external funding from companies.
The Professional Master's Program at MANDIC features exchanges and collaborations facilitated by companies in the productive sector, generating products and innovation, as well as training professionals to meet the sector's demands. Furthermore, scientific events and technical visits are promoted in cooperation with important companies in the market, where technological innovations and new products are presented to faculty and students.
The Professional Master's program at MANDIC lasts 30 to 36 months, with meetings held four days a month.
One of the unique features offered by the Professional Master's Program in Dentistry is the possibility for a student who is already a specialist and aspires to a master's degree to take the Special Master, as it is designed for those who are already specialists. This modality lasts 24 months, with bimonthly meetings over the course of one week.
In turn, the "Public Health" concentration area is multidisciplinary and focused on meeting social demands. Graduates from this area include social workers, pharmacists, doctors, nurses, and psychologists.

The program aims to train highly competent professionals to practice their profession in a transformative way, based on societal needs and direct public service, as well as enabling them to perform research and extension functions, developing innovative technical products and processes in the productive sector. The program also aims to train professionals capable of working on educational projects and training human resources in an interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary manner, resulting in the advancement of Dentistry at the international, national, regional, or local level.
Group Orpheus
The São Leopoldo Mandic Faculty is the only Brazilian educational institution to be part of the Orpheus group – an organization for PhD education in Biomedicine and Health Sciences within the European System – a member of the Association of European Universities, which brings together educational institutions active in the health sciences and biomedicine.
Among Orpheus' missions are: representing higher education and research in biomedicine and health sciences, and influencing policy formulation both nationally and internationally; promoting cooperation among association members and the development of effective bilateral and multilateral networks; fostering cooperation in research and development of joint doctoral programs; enabling the harmonization of doctoral programs in biomedicine and health sciences; encouraging the mobility of doctoral candidates and faculty; stimulating quality assurance in doctoral research and teaching, and, in particular, developing an accreditation process for doctoral programs in biomedicine and health sciences.
