Institutional Evaluation

Institutional Evaluation

College is proud to maintain top marks in all its external evaluations, such as the General Course Index (IGC), Preliminary Course Concept (CPC), Institutional Accreditation and Reaccreditation (CI), and Authorization, Recognition, and Renewal of Recognition of its undergraduate courses (CC). In this way, it positions itself as one of the ten best Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in the country.

To guarantee the maintenance of this good performance and to strive for the constant development of excellence in teaching and ensure efficient management, São Leopoldo Mandic develops an annual cycle of Internal Institutional Evaluation through the CPA (Committee), which ensures the continuity of its culture of permanent innovation, effective management, the promotion of dialogue between all parts of society affected by the College, and the constant development of a learning environment based on excellence and continuous training.

This self-evaluation process has been carried out for twenty years, always in accordance with the National System for the Evaluation of Higher Education – SINAES, and has been improved over time. It includes the academic community: students, professors, staff , and the participation of the external community.

The Self-Assessment Committee – CPA – manages this self-assessment transparently, being responsible both for obtaining data and opinions through a pre-established methodology and for publicly presenting the results in reports that guarantee the recognition of strengths and the clarification of areas for development. These same documents also present Improvement Plans that indicate practical and strategic actions to be carried out in the short, medium, and long term.

Furthermore, the self-assessment process is also an important moment for São Leopoldo Mandic to account to the academic community and society as a whole.
