The objective of this course is to provide dentists with content related to the prevention of medical emergencies in dental practice, as well as an immersion in procedures for handling potential incidents in the dental office.

The course presents different approaches to the topic of "Medical Emergencies in Dentistry," with theoretical and practical classes focused on a detailed pre-clinical assessment of the patient (laboratory tests, risks of drug interactions, and evaluation of vital signs).

Another distinguishing feature of the course is that it provides specific content on medical emergencies in dental practice, in addition to immersing the professional in a highly realistic simulation environment with hypothetical clinical cases of medical emergencies in a dental clinic setting.

Multidisciplinary faculty (Professionals from the fields of Dentistry, Medicine and Nursing);

Theoretical and practical classes with specific and up-to-date content;

Laboratory with high-fidelity realistic simulation models and actors in a simulation environment;

Debriefing room for discussion of simulated clinical cases;

Skills lab with mannequins.
