To develop public speaking techniques aimed at improving communication in a calm and uninhibited manner, in various everyday situations. The applied methodology will allow for the improvement of key aspects for successful communication, such as memory, skill, enthusiasm, theatricality, rhythm, voice, vocabulary, body language, naturalness, and knowledge.

Course Content:

How to control the fear and anxiety of public speaking:

-Overcoming shyness and facing the "audience";

Techniques for managing fear and self-control exercises;

-Exercises to detach from negative emotions before a performance;

-Practice the tools of public speaking such as diction, breathing, voice, dramatization, and interpretation for good expressiveness in speech.

Techniques for building a new speaker personality:

– Adapt to the audience's profile;

– Body language (hand movements and facial expressions);

– Working on the aggressiveness and gentleness of eloquence, rhythm and cadence;

– Developing improvisational interpretive skills.

Speech/presentation construction:

The challenges of reading and reciting from memory;

– I forgot my speech, my mind went blank, what now?

– Mental planning for constructing speeches and presentations;

Learning from the mistakes of others (laboratory technique).

Awakening a speaker:

– To acquire self-confidence;

– Developing the objectivity of the message (elevator pitch);

Correcting speech habits or linguistic crutches;

– Constant hands-on and interactive activities.

In this in-person course, students will experience firsthand the challenges of self-promotion and taking center stage as communicators, with in-depth immersion in the techniques crucial for building a new communicative personality.
In addition to learning techniques essential for impactful and persuasive communication, all exercises will be recorded by a technical team and subsequently made available to each participant, with the aim of analyzing their progress and self-correcting.
Among the tools relevant to the course, we will have filming, a lectern, microphone use, and technical direction from a Mentor in Public Speaking with a solid 20 years of experience in communication at congresses, conventions, and television programs.

    b) The documentation required to regularize the enrollment must be presented in physical format at the Student Support/Secretary of the Unit, within the period in accordance with the contract:
    – Birth or marriage certificate
    – certified by the Brazilian consulate;
